We are committed to search leadership in all aspects of our business. What is involved in your Search Engine Optimisation service?
All you have to do is provide us with your website URL. We will then conduct an in-depth analysis of your website (free of charge) and contact you with a detailed proposal on how to improve your website rankings.
Why do I need to be in top 10 in Google?
Research shows that people searching for a product or service rarely go beyond the first page or two of search engine results and obviously the higher up the list your website is, the more chance that users will choose your link as a best match for their needs. Being in the top 10 results for your chosen keyword searches is proven to increase traffic to your website and because your website is exactly what it appears to be, your conversion rate of visitors into customers will be high.
What are the common problems websites have with SEO?
Websites are often poorly optimized and do not reflect the purpose of their operation or existence. Irrelevant or poor content, cryptic intra-site linking and lack of semantic description are just some of the factors that contribute to SEO problems, resulting in often drastic losses in rankings and consequently in profitability.
Why should I outsource my Search Engine Optimisation campaign?
Outsourcing search engine optimisation campaigns has many benefits. A professional SEO provider will possess extensive experience with search engine optimisation and the knowledge to leverage it to your benefit. A professional SEO provider will take care of your complete SEO needs, leaving you to do what you do best. In a modern economy, specialized services are designed to provide value and be cost effective by delivering results. You can benefit from the wealth of experience of seasoned SEO professionals who can work both on-site and offsite to ensure that your website achieves high rankings for its desired keywords.
How long will it take to optimize my website?
There are many different techniques implemented when properly optimizing a website. Some are likely to be one-off tasks, such as choosing keywords and cleaning up the code, but as an overall strategy, SEO is an ongoing process because of the way that search engines work. Search engines read and index web pages regularly but new changes and content draw them back even more often and the better the content, the more favourably your website is looked upon by search engines and of course, your users.
When will I see results?
The length of time it takes so see noticeable results from good Search Engine Optimisation depends on a number of variables. If you choose search terms with a low level of competition then it could be a matter of a few weeks, but the more established competition you have, the longer it will take to move up the listings. Ethical SEO isn’t a quick fix solution, but there is no reason why a carefully and properly executed SEO campaign shouldn’t see noticeable results in a few months.
Will it cost a fortune?
Some Search Engine Optimisation companies will promise cheap and quick SEO results. However, as is true in most areas of life, you get what you pay for. Good SEO takes a lot of time, work and expertise but Pump Up Your Website believes in offering value for money services which can give you an excellent return on your investment. We can develop a unique tailored SEO strategy which suits your business and budget.
Do you use black hat techniques?
Pump Up Your Website uses only ethical Search Engine Optimisation methods, also known as “White Hat” techniques. Whilst black hat techniques focus on trying to fool search engines and trick them into believing the website is something that it isn’t, our methods instead work WITH search engines to produce the best results possible by representing our client’s website a clear and honest way.
Will my ranking take an initial drop?
Because of the way that search engines work, updates or changes to any site can change rankings temporarily as search engines re-index the new information, especially if your website undergoes major changes as part of SEO. However, within a short period of a few days to a few weeks, sites usually settle back to their previous ranking or higher, even before the proper effects of the Search Engine Optimisation campaign have had a chance to make an impact with search engines.
What is the difference between SEO and PPC?
Search Engine Optimisation and PPC (or Pay-Per-Click) marketing are different and complementary strategies.
PPC is similar to traditional advertising. You pay to get your website shown in the search engine listings for specific keywords and phrases. However you only pay when someone clicks on your ad, which is where the term pay-per-click originates from. These PPC ads are also known as sponsored links or paid listings. PPC gives good short term results but as soon as your campaign ends, so do the results.
SEO on the other hand is something resembling a public relations relationship between your website and the search engines. Search engines have to trust that your website will provide the information a user is looking for before they recommend it to them. SEO uses techniques and strategies which make it very clear to search engines what the content of your website is, in order to build that trust (also known as authority) and prove to search engines that your website is a highly relevant match for your particular search terms. SEO is a longer term strategy which gives more sustained organic search results.
Many businesses find that a combined campaign using both PPC and SEO is the most effective Internet Marketing strategy.
What guarantees can you offer that SEO will work for me?
Pump Up Your Website does not offer any guarantees on search results page rankings. For any Search Engine Optimisation consultant to do so would be unethical and fraudulent.
